What is the minimum age to rent a motorhome and what driving licence is needed?

The renter and each of the drivers must be at least 25 years old. They must hold a category B driving licence that is at least two years old or the equivalent licence from their country. If they are not an EU resident, they must hold an international driving permit.

Does the rental have a mileage limit?

Mileage is unlimited for rentals of 4 days or more. For 3-day hires, it is limited to 1200 kilometres per rental. When that distance is exceeded an extra 0.30 euros/km will be charged.


What is the minimum rental period?

The minimum rental period ranges from 3 to 14 days, depending on the season. 


How do I complete the reservation?


After the reservation has been confirmed, the renter must deposit 30% of the full agreed rental amount, or at least €250, within 7 days. The motorhome will then be reserved and the remaining amount will have to be paid at least 40 days before the start of the rental period.
Reservations for fewer than 4 days and reservations made fewer than 40 days in advance must be paid in full.


Do you have to pay a security deposit when you collect the vehicle?

Yes, when you collect the motorhome you will pay a security deposit of €800.00 with a credit card. The card holder and the renter must be the same person.

Is there a cancellation fee?

If the customer cancels the binding booking, they must pay the following cancellation fees, calculated from the date of the initial confirmed booking:

– a cancellation fee of €250 will be charged up to 50 days prior to the start of the rental.

– 30% of the rental price between 49 and 30 days prior to the start of the rental.

– 80% of the rental price between 29 and 8 days prior to the start of the rental.

– 100% of the rental price if there are fewer than 7 days until the start of the rental or if the vehicle is not collected at the reserved time and date.

What fuel policy do you apply?

It will be provided with a tank full of fuel and it must also be full when it is returned. Otherwise, you will be charged a refuelling fee of 20 euros, plus 2.20 euros/litre.

What features are included in the rental price?

All vehicles are equipped with a stove, refrigerator, bathroom with washbasin, shower and toilet (cassette), heating, tanks for drinking water and wastewater, seatbelts in the passenger compartment, a separate 12 V battery for the passenger compartment and a battery charger.

When can I collect the motorhome?

Vehicles are generally handed over from 4pm-6pm, Monday to Friday, and returned from 9am-11am, Monday to Friday.

What should I keep in mind when collecting the motorhome?

Bear in mind that between providing instructions and completing paperwork, the handover process can take about 1 hour. We recommend that you arrange to meet at the station at a specific time to avoid unnecessary waits. Check that the vehicle is fully equipped with a member of our staff and note any damage of signs of previous use in the handover report. 


What countries can I travel to?

The renter is only authorised to drive the leased vehicle to the following countries:
Germany, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Rep., Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Slovak Rep., Slovenia, Spain, Finland, France, Great Britain, Greece, the Netherlands, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Monaco, San Marino and Liechtenstein.

Check with us before travelling to any country that is not on the list.

It is expressly forbidden to travel to any country that is at war or engaged in a military conflict.

What should I do in the event of an accident or damage?

In the event of an accident, theft or damage caused by game animals, the renter must inform the police and the rental company immediately. They must also provide the rental station with all details relating to the accident, send photographs of the damage caused to third-party vehicles (if any) and hand in the accident report, duly completed and SIGNED. Fault for the incident will never be recognised or assumed unless stated in the “Declaración Amistosa de Accidentes” (accident statement signed by both parties).

What does the insurance cover?

In accordance with the terms of the comprehensive insurance, in the event of comprehensive damage, the rental company will hold the renter harmless from liability for any material damage, with the renter required to pay an excess of €800.00 per claim. The renter will not, under any circumstances, be exempt from civil, administrative, criminal or any other liability resulting from an accident or wilful misconduct. 
 


Can you take pets?

Pets may be taken with the express authorisation of the rental company, although bear in mind that the vehicle must be returned in an equally clean condition. The renter must ensure that their pet travels safely and in accordance with the current regulations. The pet must be suitably vaccinated and you must comply with all applicable restrictions. 


Can you drive the motorhome in the snow?

Yes, you can. Our vehicles are fully equipped and insulated for the winter.
In such an event, it is compulsory to add the optional snow chains at €50 per rental.

Do I have to clean the motorhome before I return it?

The vehicle must be clean inside when it is returned, with the wastewater and toilet tanks empty. Otherwise, a €100 surcharge will be payable for extra cleaning, €100 for emptying the grey water tank, €100 for emptying the toilet tank and €100 for any cleaning and ventilation required due to smoking.
